The old Hellebergs would cause fatigue after a long playing time. FITS: LM-10, LM-4, LM-3 DESCRIPTION: Let's face it, this is one of the most popular rims in the world. Almost EVERYBODY has played a C4 at some point in their life. 	Model LM-15 Rim - EEb or F Tuba Model CHARACTERISTICS: Width 7.48mm. Inner diameter - 32.0mm. FITS: LM-15, LM-7, LM-6, LM-5 DESCRIPTION: This is Joe Murphy's personal solo rim. This is a high range rim. This rim has a small inner diameter and a slightly rounded surface with a fairly aggressive inner edge. This rim is made to clearly project your sound and the inner edge is not too sharp, which aids in endurance. You can stay in the highest range of your solo tuba for HOURS!!

	Model LM-10 Rim - Tommy Johnson Studio Model CHARACTERISTICS: Width 7.9mm. Inner diameter - 33.5mm. FITS: LM-10, LM-4, LM-3 DESCRIPTION: This is the late great Tommy Johnson's personal rim. This rim is very wide and very cushioned. It's similar to the Marcinkiewicz N4 rim.

	Model LM-7/LM-6 Rim - BBb or CC Tuba Model CHARACTERISTICS: Width 7.48mm. Inner diameter - 32.6mm. FITS: LM-15, LM-7, LM-6, LM-5 DESCRIPTION: This is Joe Murphy's studio rim. This rim is more of a Helleberg style rim, but slightly rounded. This rim has a well pronounced inner edge giving you the clarity of articulation, but it's not as sharp as the older Hellebergs, which helps with endurance. The width of this rim would compare to a Helleberg II or a Laskey 30H.

	Model LM-5 Rim - BBb or CC Tuba Model CHARACTERISTICS: Width 7.48mm. Inner diameter - 33.2mm. FITS: LM-15, LM-7, LM-6, LM-5 DESCRIPTION: This is from the Deck Series rims from the early 90's. It is based on a Helleberg style. It is wider than the LM-7 rim to accommodate the low register. It is more rounded than the LM-7, but this should not be considered a "cushioned" rim. It still has a fairly aggressive inner edge for clear articulations.

	Model LM-4 Rim - BBb or CC Tuba Model CHARACTERISTICS: Width 7.67mm. Inner diameter - 33.2mm. FITS: LM-4, LM-10, LM-3 DESCRIPTION: This is based on the PT88 rim. The width of the rim itself is fairly narrow, but the inner diameter of the rim is wide. The difference in this rim and a PT88 rim is the surface of the rim. It's ever so slightly flatter, not quite as rounded at the PT88. This strengthens your articulations and "lights up" the horn a little quicker.
